I’ve been playing World of Warcraft off and on for about a year, and I recently joined up with a great group of people who I’ve been playing with for some time to form a new guild called Primal Might (after one of the in-game transmutations).
I have volunteered to do the website and it is now ready for its official launch. The site is powered by WordPress and phpBB which I have integrated and themed for continuity.
I did something a bit different this time. As it was a volunteer project that we wanted to get up and running quickly, I started by finding a free WordPress theme that was close to what I wanted and did modifications to get our look and feel. It still took a bit of re-writing but saved a lot of time in the long run.
The phpBB forums had to be completely themed to match the main site but this was fairly straight forward and only took a day or so to accomplish.
